My girls were sold to me as Isa Browns, I dont seem to be able to find them in here anywhere, could it just be that they call them a different name here in Australia, they look very similar to the Orpingtons (hope ive spelt that right). They are now just over 20 weeks and have started laying nice brown eggs, even had a double yolker on day 4! These pics are when they were about 14 weeks old.

Isa Browns, Golden Comets, Red Sex-links- all basically the same thing. They are red sex links- some of the best layers of brown eggs you'll find. Different hatcheries have given them all those nicknames over the years.

Production reds don't have white anywhere on them.

I'm from Australia too! Your chickens do look like Isa Browns to me, but where I live they're just "laying hens" lol. My feed store stocks them sometimes, but they just call them egg layers
