What breed do we have?

We were told this was a production red from TSC. We are not sure what we have, we’re pretty sure we heard it crowing too!

I guess we just assumed they were all pullets... we didn’t really know what a production red was either. Our boy picked him because he wanted to sell eggs! Lol

Production reds are different than red sex links.

They are bred to lay tons of eggs BUT production reds are not sexable by color at hatch while sex links are bred for that trait.

Bummer about the surprise male.
