Barred Rock, fingers crossed it is a hen!

Rooster and hen, what breeds?

At least of of these is a rooster, I have seen it crow, but what breed?

Roosters what breeds?

Rooster, breed?

Rooster, breed?

Thanks for the help!

Katy

I got these birds at the end of April from an exotic chicken sale, they were sold to me as pullets, but they were not.

I ended up buying 20 more that are all pullets, and cant wait till they are all grown up into pretty birds!

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Barred Rock, fingers crossed it is a hen! Sorry, rooster! It has droopy saddle feathers...

Rooster and hen, what breeds? The girl in the back looks like a sumatra...does she have a black/blue comb? The rooster up front is harder...maybe a silver penciled rock or a silver-gray dorking?? What color legs does he have?

At least of of these is a rooster, I have seen it crow, but what breed? Hard to tell from the picture. Are they black? Red? Maybe rhode island reds (the real, rare kind) ? Black rocks?

Roosters what breeds? Does the black one have a crest? If yes, probably a mix. If no, maybe an australorp? The one at the back looks like a fine-bodied delaware. It could also be a poorly marked fayoumi or silver campine.

Rooster, breed? Does he have a muff? I don't know on this one. Mutt?

Rooster, breed? What type of comb does he have? Is that a crest I see? Maybe a blue andalusian?

Thanks for the help! You're welcome!

Katy

Your Barred Rock looks to be female.

The last bird looks like a Blue Wheaten Marans HEN at point of lay (with poor coloring--just a few gold feathers at the neck). How old is the bird?

Sorry for the late reply, I have been really busy!

I haven't seen the BR crow yet, so I am still holding out for a hen!

The rooster in pic 5 doesn't have a muff.

This is one of the birds in pic 3. They are very small, about 11-12 weeks and as big as my month old Colombian Rocks.

This is the comb of the blue/grey rooster. (pic 6) He crows so not a hen, and about 12 weeks old maybe.

These are the comb of black rooster (pic 4)

This is hen in pic. #2

I hope these pictures help more to identify.

I'm going to say all are mixes... The barred bird has girly coloring for a barred rock but looks all boy otherwise. Very leggy, large comb and wattles, doesn't look like a mature hen at all. I would be very surprised if it was a hen. The crested birds.... maybe silkie mix? Cockerels except for the all black bird from pic #2. Pic #3? I'm not sure what they are, if they are still young though.... with that much comb..... cockerel
I have a Dominque mix who is 5 weeks old, he looks like a girl in color but his comb and wattles are huge, his legs are also very chunky!
