What breed is he?

    probably a red sex link rooster. is he LF or bantam?

    I don't remember what they said but it was something like and Ameracauna...but he doesn't look like that.

    LF means large fowl. He looks like a leghorn to me, but doesn't have yellow legs. I think leghorns are used with rhode island reds to make red sex links, so maybe a male one of those.

    I'm still going with red sex link boy. red ear lobes are a dead give away that he's not a leghorn.

    Ok, thanks! Another question then! About two weeks ago I got a black sexlink chick. How can you tell the breeds on sexlinks?

    If its a girl the chick will be solid black. The boys have a white dot on top of their heads. Then once they feather out the girls will stay back and the boys will be barred. [​IMG]

    I have no idea on the breeds, it all depends on the breeder/hatchery

    Mine is just getting in the last of her feathers. I noticed in the chest area there is some brownish gold in the feathers! Have any idea what breed that might be? Thanks for your help! :)
