Hi, I don't have any idea what breed my roo is. Can someone tell me? Thanks.
probably a red sex link rooster. is he LF or bantam?
What does LF stand for? lol And hes not a bantam!
I don't remember what they said but it was something like and Ameracauna...but he doesn't look like that.
LF means large fowl. He looks like a leghorn to me, but doesn't have yellow legs. I think leghorns are used with rhode island reds to make red sex links, so maybe a male one of those.
I'm still going with red sex link boy. red ear lobes are a dead give away that he's not a leghorn.
Ok, thanks! Another question then! About two weeks ago I got a black sexlink chick. How can you tell the breeds on sexlinks?
If its a girl the chick will be solid black. The boys have a white dot on top of their heads. Then once they feather out the girls will stay back and the boys will be barred.
I have no idea on the breeds, it all depends on the breeder/hatchery
Mine is just getting in the last of her feathers. I noticed in the chest area there is some brownish gold in the feathers! Have any idea what breed that might be? Thanks for your help!
