What breed is he?

Well it's been confirmed, my gold sex link chick is now a rooster. The lady who brought him to me said she thinks now he is possibly a RIR or New Hampshire red. I'll have to find him a home but I'm wondering which breed he is, hoping it will help me in finding a good home.

That is really crazy as sex linked chicks are pretty accurate. If I were her I would have traded him for a pullet..

I agree with hdowden. Althought I just consider all hatchery NHs and RIRs to be Production Reds.

Typically a new hampshire will not have any horn coloring in their beaks, this could be a production red type...
