I purchased what I believe is a bantam chicken at a local poultry auction yesterday. I was wondering if anyone knew what breed and whether it is a hen or rooster. I believe it's a hen but want to be sure before I turn it out with the rest of my flock. Thanks![IMG]

Thank you! I've been getting good advice on this site and decided to join. I have been mainly needing information on ducks because I recently purchased a few pekin ducks and have had no experience with ducks. I have had a small flock of chickens for many years. This site has really provided me with a lot of good information.

[IMG] Looks a like a game bantam mix - how old is the chick?

I have a Bantam too. but I am not sure what kind that one is may be a gold lace.
I have a little cute Old English Game hen. (bantam)
I am sure you will love bannies.
