What breed is it?

    The bird in my gr. Uncle's hands (my avatar)... what is it? The pic was from back in the late 60's or very early 70's. I was about 10 or 12 when this was taken. His birds were red and black, I honestly thought he kept aseels but the bird in the pic doesn't look it to me after reading some of the structure of different birds. I will say the bird in that pic looks smaller than most of his birds as I recall... from 40 plus years ago so maybe its just my mind slipping... egad! Lol!

    Anyway, what do you think it is? Here is a bigger image.

    He's a Game bird. Post this pic on the Gamefowl thread under Breeds, Genetics and Showing. Someone may be able to tell you what variety of Game he was.

    Some type of gamebird, probably not an Aseel. Could be an Old English Game.
