Need help figuring out what breed she is. We've owned chickens for about a year so we're always learning. We have looked up so many different breeds to try to place her but haven't ever seen another chicken like her. She came from the same flock as our light brahma and has similar characteristics but I just can't find any pictures of another brahma that looks like her. We love her, she is so sweet and would love to get more like her eventually. She was about 4 months old when this was taken. Her comb is now a bit bigger.[IMG]

What color egg does she lay?
She looks similar to my amauracanas.

She looks like a Brahma mix to me, with the feathered legs.

She lays light brown eggs, very similar to my other brahma. We've been thinking she's a brahma mix. We've just never seen another one like her.

Having feathered legs, wattles instead of bearding, etc she is not showing any ameraucana traits -- it is more likely she is a form of brahma mix.

I didn't see the legs. I'm no expert. I was just trying to help. [IMG]
