This is Goldilocks. My father in law gave her to me and I haven't been able to figure out what breed she is. I thought she was an EE but I haven't been getting any colored eggs. 20191015_085433~2.jpg 20191015_085350~2.jpg

Looks EE to me. It is possible for Easter eggers to lay pink/brown eggs. It's just not as common.

You are correct, she is definitely an Easter Egger. Shes probably laying a brown egg. Since EE's are basically just a landrace that hasn't been intensively bred to any set standards, there is a lot of variation among them (or even other breeds mixed in). Evidently this girl didn't get the blue egg gene. She's very pretty though.

How many chickens do you have and how many eggs are you getting per day?
She looks old enough to lay according to that deep red comb, but she also looks like she might be molting. If shes molting, she might not be laying at all right now. Don't be surprised if you begin to get blue/green eggs after she completes her molt.
She's a Purdy Bird regardless of what color she lays!

I'm with you. I was gonna say EE or Auracana. I trust the knowledge of the smarties.

Agreed, EE... just doesn't have the blue egg gene...

Definitely not Araucana... They're rumpless with tufts and specific colors... which this hen doesn't match at all.

I agree, she's definitely an Easter Egger. But not all Easter Eggers lay blue or green eggs.
    She's very pretty btw. :)

That makes sense then because I've been getting a very light pink/brown egg that I couldn't decide if it belonged to Cora (a Silver Wyandotte) or Goldilocks. And thank you she is the "flashiest" of the girls I was given.
