This is Penny, she’s almost a year now. When I got her at TSC I asked for a brown leghorn, which she is not. Her eggs are a light sage green but she doesn’t look like the EEs I have seen. Ideas?

That makes total sense yet never crossed my mind!! Thank youEaster Eggers usually have muffs and green legs, but I have several with either traits. If her eggs are a pale green, she is definitely an Easter Egger. She has brown leghorn traits, so she is a mix with that breed with another Easter Egger.

I thought those laid white eggs. The OP said her eggs were green.brown leghorn.
I’m pretty sure legbars have head puffs don’t they? All mine did.She looks like a Legbar. They also lay green/blue eggs.
