What breed is she?

I would prefer to use a different term, but, as far as I know, there isn’t one.
This chicken has a red face and comb. Sumatras have black faces & combs. So this chicken is not a Sumatra (or at least, not a good one.)

Nice and clear, no problematic terms, but it did take more words to say ;)

That description matches fibromelanism as well, though, and I was trying to clarify to @TheOddOneOut that Sumatras don’t have fibromelanism.

Yes, which is why it's good for telling why the chicken cannot be a Sumatra, while dodging the issue of what to call the black face on a Sumatra.

Of course when you DO want to discuss the difference between fibromelanism and gypsy face, then you need terms for those traits :)
