This is Lucy. I originally thought she was a Buff Orpington but she looks nothing like Fats now. These 2 are the same age but she is not getting her comb and waddles.

This is Fats. They are 5 1/2 to 6 months old. Just wish they would start laying soon.

Is she a hatchery bird? Many times they are breeding different lines so can look very different. Buff Orpington looking to me too, but a side view would be good to look at, orps can be slow maturers too

looks like a buff orpington, some chickens mature faster than others, oh and Fats looks like she may lay soon with that big red comb!

Thanks guys. I was thinking she was just not maturing as fast but I wanted to make sure. We got them from Orschelns.

Oh, now Lucy's gonna feel all bad cause she's not as "developed" as the other girl [IMG] That's all it is, they're both bo hens, Fats is just more mature, and as stated, getting close to laying!

They look just like my BO hens. 6 months and not laying! Ours are 4 months and being threatened by the hubby already!
