What breed is this? A question I've had for 3 years.

    What breed is this hen? I was never entirely sure but I always assumed gold star, though she does somewhat resemble a rhode island red.

    Looks like an RIR to me. I'm not experienced with Standard breeds. She also looks blind, did you know that?

    She's NOT a RIR, she's not even a production red.

    She's a golden comet, or golden comet mix.

    Your assumptions are correct. She's a Red Sex-link. They are sold under multiple names, as Cowgirl71 helpfully point out [​IMG]
