Hello! A lady in our town has some chickens, and this dude starting causing problems, so we offered to take him, and now he’s living with us now! Any ideas on what breed he is? We’re not sure about possible parents, if he was ordered or hatched from the flock, nothing. Any help would be great!

I am not sure. It looks like a very skinny dark cornish but I doubt it is that because cornishes are definitely not skinny birds... Regardless of what he is, he is very good looking.

I'm thinking Malay? Or some sort of gamecock.

Crossbred of some kind. Lots of game influence in him though.

Thank you! I was thinking a game of some sort, but then he has that beard, or a partial beard... He’s quite the character...doesn’t like the sparrows :gig

He appears to be a Game, or possibly Game mix. Just gorgeous. :love
