What breed is this hen?

    This little girl is different, she's the brown hen but I don't know what breed she is, I bought her separate from my leghorns and I still have no clue what she is. She lays about 2 medium brown eggs a day.

    I'm not sure, but she looks like a mix to me. She is very pretty!

    Did she come from a hatchery or breeder? Looks what I think a Blue sexlink hen would look like.

    Bought her from this couple who bought her at an auction last year. I was there when they bought her and the person selling we had a bunch of hens that looked like her but they weren't selling any roos.

    She lays 2 medium brown eggs a day? Are you sure it is her? She has white ear lobes.

    Chickens rarely lay more than 1 egg a day. It takes about 28 hrs for an egg to form. I didnt even notice that until you posted that.

    Yeah, I'm also thinking she would be a white egg layer. I know it's not a hard and fast rule, but she just looks a little lighter bodies, like most of the white egg layers. Not an Andalusian, but maybe mixed with something heavier?
