What breed is this hen?

    This is Lady. We got her from mypetchicken's brown egg layers pack. I previously thought she was a Buff Orpington but now I am questioning that statement. If anyone knows, please respond. Thanks!

    That chicken in the second picture is a rooster, if I'm seeing those saddle feathers correctly. I'd call him a Buff Orpington.

    She can't be a rooster- she lays eggs. But she does have a strange habit of jumping on one of the other hens backs and yanking on the skin of her head. I don't know.

    Ive been told she is a rooster as well,lol.

    She looks like a Buff Orpington to me - white legs, buff color. Why do you think she's not one?

    the body is wrong for a bo but if its hatchery quelty then she very well could be a bo

    Looks like a hatchery quality Buff Orpington. New Hampshires are more chestnut brown/buff, and do not have white legs.

    Definitely a BO, your chicken has pink legs, a single, comb, and is buff in color!
