what breed is this leggy bantam roo??

    Purchased from tractor type store on 12/9.. he has a pea comb.. Very leggy gray compared to my two little cochins i purchased the same day.

    Also he has slight of an attitude.. Lol

    So hard to capture clear photo of him..lol

    Ooh, he's handsome. Looks like a Dark Brahma to me, which is awesome. In my book, Brahmas are only second to Cochins.

    Thanks. I was thinking that lol. Someone suggeed hes mixed ducle due to feathery extra feathered feet.??

    Maybe, but probably just a breed variation. Brahmas have feathered feet anyway, although not a profuse as Cochins.

    Yep, sounds like a Brahma. Cochins are pretty awesome; my all-time favorite bird was a bantam black Cochin named Smoothie. She just passed away, but she was a bossy little thing. Have two Brahmas right now and they're some of my favorites. So much personality!:love

    Looks like your smooth (not frizzled) Cochin is also a cockerel.
