Can you post some shots of her standing up so we can see legs and body shots.
Looks like a rhode island red or production red (brown egg layer), but its hard to tell from that angle.
Standing shot would help and Is that a peacomb also?
She was wild, & loose in the city. She was roosting WAY up in the trees. The dog catcher brought her to me as a last resort. She has a tiny head, so I thought she might have some fighting blood in her?? She lays beige (not tan) eggs.
Probably a baryard mix.
Anyhow, she's a chicken and appears to be a good one for you.
That does look like a peacomb and with the leg color so maybe a mix between an EE and some sort of production red / RIR / NHR ?
That is what I was thinking.
