    It looks like his cheeks are puffy. If so, I'd guess crossbreed, probably with a Salmon Faverolles.

    I ordered chickens from Murray Mcmurray hatchery. They always send a surprise chick. This is the surprise chick. Coming from a well known hatchery I would think that they send only full blooded breeds

    I would guess an off colored hatchery quality Salmon Faverolles.

    Even 'well known hatcheries' sometimes provide birds with questionable DNA.

    Salmon Faverolles have beards, muffs, feathered shanks and a fifth toe. That is not a cross.
