What breed is this rooster?

This rooster is maybe 3 months old, Three chicks, including two pullets, he and his mother wandered onto a friend's property where the three girls were gotten by foxes. My friend captured this guy and took him home and the owner didn't want him (Mom had sneaked away and hidden a nest.) so my friend is keeping him penned so he is safe, but any ideas on breed? I'm sure he's a mix, but what is interesting to me his legs are very pale, almost white. All the neighbor's chickens have pale legs. The two young girls were black.
