What breed is this white w some color rooster and hen?

    I bought this roo mislabled a pullet and orpington. I have 2hens also. I love the large dark eggs and want more of this type, but now i dont know what it is. Anyone?

    Thanks so much for responding Would they lay large brown eggs? They are my best brown egg layers. How could i get more? Do you know?

    this rooster is a red sex link rooster. His counter part hens are red/gold with white tips and tails. They're marketed under several brand names--red stars, gold comets, cinnamon queens to name a few. If you breed this rooster to red sex link hens you'll still get nice layers, but you'll lose the sex linkage part of the cross.
