This was one of my favorite hens i had. She sadly was put down because she was egg bound. We had brough her to the vet after giving her warm baths and trying to get the egg out with lubricant. All had failed and the vet said that it would cost thousands of dollars to remove. I get mad at myself time i think of her for not just breaking the egg and trying to remove it my self. I know there is a possibility that the egg shell could get stuck in her but i would have took that risk. Im get furious with my self for not trying harder. Anyways in trying to figure out what breed she was so i could get another like her because she was so nice and gentle and loving. She was ordered as a mixed bantam off mypetchicken.com. Thanks for the help! I really hope we can find out her breed! The picture of the chicks she was the one on the left. She is the gray one on the "shelf" in the one with the coop in the background. Please help! Thanks!!!!!! [IMG]

My first guess would an EE, (hatchery ameracauna). Doesn't match any of the other bantams they sell and EE come in various colors most have a pea comb with green slate legs.
