So I bought these chicks at tractor supply but I dont know the breed help

Does any body know what is there breed

It's hard to tell when they are young if you don't have a general idea. Post pictures in 3-4 weeks and we may be able to tell you.

What do you know about them?

• are they standard size or bantams?
• what colors are they showing
• etc.

I bought some last spring at TSC they were White Leghorn. Yellow with white feather silver quickly turned white. Just guessing looked just like mine.

What did the sign say? Assorted Bantams? Mixed Standard Breeds?

much too young - best would be 8 weeks old or so, when fully feathered out.

Straight run means luck of the draw. You can get all females or all males, but are likely to get something approaching even numbers.

I realize straight run is supposed to be as hatched, but have seen posts suggesting that some hatcheries send stores their unwanted cockerels labeled that way. I shouldn't have been so cynical! I bought 2 straight run bantams and both are pullets, and i got 5 straight run Spitzhaubens and 3 are females.
