what breed are these and are they rare and do they go broody often?
Humes Bartailed. Moderately common. Depends on set up for them to become broody.

They are on the rarer side of the more common pheasants if that makes sense.
Less common than goldens, more common than Impeyans. Somewhere in the middle.
I have had some who were great broodys, and others than never once set, so it's the individual hen from my experience than the species itself where broodiness is concerned.
