    Does anybody know? Left is a Barred Rock, no doubt. But the other two leave us guessing.

    The speckled birds are Russian Orloffs, and the other hen is likely an Easter Egger (cross breed with blue egg-laying genes in it's ancestry).

    It is a breed from Iran called an Orloff http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orloff_(chicken). I have one hatched from an egg which is getting quite old now. She was a gift (as an egg) from a very dear friend who passed away sever years ago. It will be sad when she goes as the memory of the Chesterly family will go with her.
