What breed is this?

    Just purchased from a local feed store. They are being sold as Araucanas. After doing some research about how rare they are, could this possibly be an Americana or a EE?

    Is it too early to tell what color she will be as an adult?

    Generally local feed store = EE. True Ameraucanas or Araucanas are usually obtained from breeders not hatcheries.

    It's an Easter Egger. Feed store birds are always Easter eggers.

    Sorry, I agree with CCCchickens. That is for sure not a Jersey Giant chick.Not a white one and not a black one. It has a typical EE chipmunk stripe pattern though and what looks like cute little muffs. Most likely it's an EE. Give it 5-6 more weeks and post another pic. [​IMG]
