Hi, my family purchased 12 chicks on March 2nd from a local farm store. They were about a week old, we got 1 production red that was all by itself and obviously lonely, our 5 and 3 year old human kids couldn’t stand seeing her so lonely so we had to get her. And since she was from the shipment a week earlier we wanted to get birds all the same size. The only other week old birds were 11 from a brooder that was marked “Silver Laced Wyandot”. The 11 chicks had a bit of grey to them and I had no reason to question the labeling. But now that they are about 4 weeks old they are pretty much all white feathers. I do not know what kind of birds I have but they definitely don’t look like a silver laced wyondot. I sent an email to their store and they sent my pictures to their hatchery supplier. Hatchery told them I had golden laced wyondotte, and I do not believe that either. Can you please help me identify my birds?
Thank you in advance!
