    It was sold to me as a Black Star, but then after receiving this bird I started getting white eggs.

    My neighbor went in with me on a chick order last year. She got a couple Anconas and they proved to be her best layers, and they were so pretty too!

    Thanks for all the responses. I love these birds. they do produce eggs nearly every day and have such great personalities.
