So, I ordered 8 bantams from Ideal poultry, and they added 6 roosters for warmth while shipping. The problem is, they are unidentified, so we have no idea what breed they are! We are looking to give them away but we would like to tell people who are interested what breed they are. Here is a pic of them....

My PPs from Ideal looked just like those and turned out being Barred Rocks.

What kind of combs do they have? If it's a single comb, it's a barred rock, if it's a rose comb, it's a dominique. Looks like they may have sent you a pullet [IMG]

Looks like Barred Rock to me and looks like one could be a pullet.

Those are definitely Barred Rocks. I have 10 of them and they look just like your flock. They look like pullets to me instead of roosters.

Quote:Those are definately not all pullets. From this pic, I see only 1 pullet in the group.

If they have single combs, they're barred rocks, but if they have rose combs, they're dominiques.

The Barred Rock and Dominique chicks look the same, the Dominiques will be smaller than a standard chick. The chick in the front is a pullet, [IMG] whether it be a Rock or a Dominique.
