    When i tried comparing him to an australorp his tail feathers looked longer and not as bunched together

    he looks like a mix since jersey giants and australorps are all black and have no other color in the feathers

    Does he look like a dark blue to you too? I thought it might be my computer.

    I see dark blue, also. The leakage on the hackle feathers looks silver colored to me, but I'm on my crappy work laptop & colors look weird sometimes.

    he's quite a handsome guy, that's for sure!

    I really wish I could see this rooster in person now. I'd love to pick it up and peek at the feet to confirm it's a Blue Australorp.
