What breed of hen is this bantam

    She was sold to me by a freind She Does beat up all the bigger hens. My friend siad she has tried to go broody but they take her off the Nést because the eggs are not fertile[​IMG]

    Looks like an Old English Game to me.
     
  5. I would say light brown leghorm because from what I hear they can sometimes be a bit feisty but it looks like red ear lobes so I'm going with every one else and say OEGB.

    Its definiteely a bantam as you can tell by the size of the eye cpmpared to the head. This rules out any prpduction breed. Red ears rules out leghorn and highly held body rules out welsummer so it must be oegb

    It look like an Old English Game Bird to me but that's just from experience. I have two hens that look exactly like that. Same colour and everything.
