He looks like a NH red in color, but his tail is white?

I'm not sure either [IMG] Could be a cross between NH, or RIR with something else [IMG]

He doesn't have a single comb, does he? Hard to tell from this distance and my eyes not cooperating.

Looks like a NHR X RSL [IMG] Or ... it might have some Wyandotte in there somewhere to explain the Rose Comb.

It looks like a NHR but with that white tail I would say he has something else as well the question is what though we need closer pics one of the comb side and back and tail if you can get all that.

I didn't know the comb was so important. I'll look tomorrow and get a closer pic of him. I don't even know.

Thanx for helping, all! I love this guy - he's very sweet to the hens and non-aggressive towards us. He does crow a lot tho. He also has a beautiful head of long, red, flowing hair. [IMG]

Looks like a single comb to me. I noticed that the hen has a blue tail, so if they're related, I'd assume that he would be carrying 2 blue genes, which is where the white (splash) tail comes from.
