I can't enlarge pics while at the hospital--does he really have white earlobes like the second pic shows? Or is it just some type of artifact on the pic?

The reason I say maran is because of his light brown/pinkish legs. Barred Rocks have yellow legs.

Looks like a Cuckoo Maran, though his earlobes are kind of white.

He does seem to have some white on his ears. I cannot tell if it is his coloring or some sort of health condition. This roo just decided to show up at my back door while his "parents" from down the street were out of town.
He was so huge and beautiful I just wanted to know what breed he could be! He was shockingly docile.
