We got this sweet tempered boy with a bunch of hens we bought. It was a mixed flock so all the breeds are different. The people we got them from knew the breeding of the hens, but the rooster was given to them. My boyfriend thought he was a Rhode Island Red, but I don't think he is....we've had those before and the temperament and looks are completely different! Any ideas?[IMG]

He is probably an Easter Egger or Easter Egger cross.

That's what I was thinking. RIR with EE? Obe if his male offspring looks just like him but has the fluffy cheeks. I think he was from this rooster and my EE hen.....

He very well could be a Rhode Island Red Easter Egger cross. :)
