im pretty sure all twelve of my hens are just that, hens, but this is my first time raising chickens so i cant be too sure. and i have three hens that im pretty sure about the breed but then i see other breeds that look almost the same and i get my doubts. can any one help me figure out what breeds they are ?
    please and thank you [IMG]

this is Pavarotti (i just recently found out its a guys name) i think she's a white-leghorn?

this is Kyoko i think she's a brown leghorn
    [IMG]

and this is Mishka im pretty sure she's a Hamburg (she is pretty pettite)

oh and the three of them came from McMurray Hatchery. we got them as day old chicks
and would any one happen to know if mcmurray puts bantams in their rainbow layer basket? or if the mystery chick can be a bantam?
and sorry that some of the pictures are blurry:/
    thanks again

we got Patli, Vika, Artemis and Chipmunk as day old chicks.

this is Patli she my very sweet but very shy as well Ancona. we got her from western farms but didnt check to see if she was under S/R or pullets and the receit doesnt say.

this is Vika we got her the same day we got Patli and the same thing happened, but to me it seems like its easy to tell the difference between male and female barred rocks so im pretty sure she is a pullet.

this is Chipmunk she is my lighter brown EE.(she didnt want to stay still so i made dog noises to get her attention, thats why her heads tilted)

this is Artemis she is my darker brown EE we got both from western farms as well but we made sure that time that they were sexed and under "pullets"

we got Khari, Bridgette, Kemina, Sanyue and Lucina as pullets

this is Khari we got her and Bridgette from a farmer in windsor. they are red-sexlinks.

    this is Bridgette
    [IMG]

this is Kemina, we got her from western farms as well she is a black sexlink
    [IMG]

this is Sanyue we got her and Lucina from a farmer in santa rosa. sanyue is a Rhode Island Red
    [IMG]

and this is Lucina she is a New Hampshire red

You should post the rest of the chickadee's so you can have more help on what the other breeds are too. Kill two birds with one stone - no pun intended here

I think you are right about your pullets breeds, and they are very pretty birds. [IMG]
