My neighbor found this little bird in her yard and knew I had chickens so she brought in to me to take care of because she knew something would eat it if it stayed in her yard over night. Poor thing is scared to death.

It’s a coturnix quail, I’m guessing part Texas A&M. If I’ve got that wrong, CC will correct me I’m sure. :lau The TX are not feather sexing birds. You have to vent sex them or you can guess from their behavior (crowing, mounting = boy, laying eggs = girl. :p
