What breed to add with my bantam

Hi

Through no fault of our own we have a single bantam Cochin hen. We are looking to get chicks in the spring. We didn’t mean to get a bantam as the people we original got our chicks from didn’t tell us they were bantam Cochins. What breeds of chickens would be best to introduce to our sweet docile girl? I’m worried about her being bullied.

Don't get Rhode Island Reds. Most breeds would probably be OK.

The beautiful thing about bantam Cochins is that they are frequently broody so she can raise the chicks from eggs produced by your breed of choice.
