Im still thinking these are cockerels. Any guess on breed yet?
The one on the left is a barred rock and I think its a cockerel whereas the one on the right looks like a puller but I am unsure of the breed.
I think barred rock roo as well, the other idk. They both have the same size cone and sprouting wattles. The other chicks are less progressed as far as cones and wattles, but more feathered. The picture angle and his color hide that. Ill try for a better pic.
First is a Black Sex Link or Barred Plymouth Rock cockerel. Second is a Production Red and I'm leaning towards it being a pullet, but it's hard to tell in the pictures.
Is a production red like rhode island red or? Im new tobthis all still sorry
It's fine. They are red colored birds generally bred for laying. They are often marketed as Rhode Island Reds, but in reality are different in looks, size, and personality than true heritage Rhode Island Reds.
Update: Oreo today
On second look on the pic I am thinking even the red chick is a roo.
