What breed?

Hi, we're new to the hen world and have been given and bought some hens and a cockerel. We were told they were one breed then my dad said he's not so sure they are that breed! If I add some pictures could someone advise??? Many thanks

Oh and also how/when will we tell what sex the baby chicks are?

First pic is a Columbian Wyandotte cockerel and most likely a White Rock hen "or a White Wyandotte with incorrect comb". Second pic is two Silver Penciled Wyandotte hens. The chick will need to be at least 12 weeks old to start making accurate guesses.
