I got them from a local feed store, they were selling chocolate orpingtons, so i asked a friend to pick 5 up for me while she was there, when i got them, i knew they weren't chocolates, so I've been trying to figure out for weeks what they are. They looked a lot like speckled sussexs as chicks but i have some of those the same age and they look completely different now that they are all feathering out so now i know for sure they aren't speckled sussexs either. I'm stumped.Where did you get him/her? Could be a mix of some sort.
Speckled Sussex..? Or a mix..?Can anyone help me out with identifying what breed chick this is?

The feed store told me they get their chicks from Hoover, do they sell mixes? I've always gotten my chicks from Cackle so I'm not all that familiar with Hoover.Maybe Welsummer x Legbar olive eggers.
