What breed ?

Do these look like black Orpington? My broody hen hatched them and the ladies said the eggs were a mix of black and buff Orpington and or barred rocks.

Yes, they look like black Orpingtons to me. You would have gold leakage if there was buff Orp as one parent, and you would most likely have barring if barred rock was one parent.
