What Breed?

    This was my favorite chicken Leilani from when I first raised chickens 15 years ago. I was in high school then, and we raised them for a class. I think she came from a hatchery. I have no idea what breed she is. I would love to hear your thoughts!

    I'd say a mutt or a really poor quality New Hampshire (as always said, this is no offense to the hen, she's pretty, just not what New Hampshires normally should look like)

    I just looked up New Hampshire - I could see that. I was wondering if she was a mutt since I couldn't find anything very close. Thank you!

    looks like some sort of crossed buff brahma to me, but, i'm no expert.

    Buff Brahma has been the closest thing I have found, obviously she is not because her legs are clean and she is much smaller and she has a single comb, but the coloring is similar. I was going to order one this spring, but the hatchery I'm going through is having trouble with their buff brahmas this year and won't have any unfortunately. Thanks for the reply!
