    Anyone know what kind of chicken this hen is? She has a green tint to her feathers when she's in the sun. Thanks in advance!

    She appears to be a hatchery type Dark Cornish.

    What they said. They're supposed to be great broody hens, if you're inclined to hatch out your own chicks.

    agreed! i ADORE my dark cornish hens...they are excellent free range birds and are the best mama hens i've got!
