That is true. The chick down just didn't look quite right for silver laced and the legs would be very lightly feathered for a Cochin. That made me think Light Brahma. I was banking on the comb type getting confused because it would better explain the down and leg featheringLight Brahmas should have pea combs, not single combs-- but they often look about the same at that age.
As it grows bigger, it should become more obvious.
An actual single comb would probably mean the chick is a Cochin.
