Once my chicks are laying for a bit. I am thinking I might want to let one or two hatch some eggs. My neighbor has no idea what breeds they have cause they came with the house. Lol. Can anyone tell me what they are? Thanks. [IMG]

Red with black tail and yellow feet could be a New Hampshire.

The first one looks like a mixed breed. The second looks like a Production Red.

The first could be a hatchery-quality New Hampshire, or a mixed breed (a better picture would be nice; I can't tell if the black spots on the chest are shadows or markings). Second is a Rhode Island Red.

The first one is a mixed breed but it does superfically look like a possible hatchery new hampshire...

other is production red, but many will think RIR.. sorta the same thing- PR is basically a strain of RIR.

Is that a spalding peacock in the background?

I am not sure what kind of peacock it is. They have lots of different birds.

The top one is likely a hatchery grade New Hampshire. The bottom one is a hatchery grade RIR or Production Red.
