The top looks like a crossbred polish. And the bottom looks like a mottled ancona with way too much white.

If you're in the UK, the first one might be an araucana. I have only seen pics of them on feathersite, so not sure but believe they have crests and muffs over there.

The UK Araucana doesn't look the same as the one we think of that is rumpless.

Actually rocketdog, araucanas can be both rumpless and tailed (although it is the rumpless that are SQ here).

My guess is that the cockerel is a mixed breed, at best.

The hen is either a hatchery quality speckled sussex, mottled ancona, or mottled java. The pictures aren't large enough for me to tell the difference.

What color are the roo's legs? Are they a slate? and I too have seen and read that the standard for Araucana in the UK is like this one, with the tail and with the tuft. In fact, black EE's in this country are not very prominent are they? I know Sand Hill has a line of Ameraucanas that are black. Remember, we go by the APA, as in American Poultry Assoc. Standards here. UK and Europe have a whole different book and a lot more breeds and colors to consider.
