What can be wrong with my chick?

I have 3-4 week old cochin/silkie mix chicks right now. Everything was great until yesterday when one of them stopped walking. She just lays on her side with her legs out to the side. She almost acts like she has spraddle leg. She won't support weight unless she has to, to get water or food. Can a chick this old get spraddle leg and if she can can it be fixed? I have had day olds with it and have fixed it, but thought they were fine after that. Any one have any idea?

Yah. She just lays in the brooder either on her side with her legs out to the side or she lays on her back. When you try to pick her up and put her on her feet she just spraddles her legs out to the side and won't support herself at all. Really have no idea what happened!

I'd splint it with a band aid ASAP. The sooner you splint it, the better the chances are of fixing it.

You don't have the chicks on a slippery surface, like newspaper, right?
