Someone gave us a chicken and it is pecking my other 4 chicken what can I do to stop
This ? they are not free range chickens

The owners gave it to us put them in cage right away

Sorry the owner had there one that they gave us in a small carryon cage and put the chicken in our coop with my other 4 right away

I don't think they knew what they were doing. Usually you separate new chickens for about a month to make sure they aren't sick, then have them on either side of a fence so they can see each other but not get at for at least two weeks. How big is your coop?
