What Chicken breed should i do ?

    I personally like the Silkies for the gentle disposition, and calm. Not the greatest on egg production since they are Bantams. For me though, I personally like the Orpingtons, there nice and lay great eggs.

    Silkies are a friendly calm docile breed, so are Cochins.

    do what I do...get a variety! The more the merrier!!! But Frizzles rule!

    Silkies are great birds [​IMG] If your mainly looking for a bird thats friendly, and the egg production isn't important, Silkies are the way to go.

    They are actually one of the best breeds out there for being broody [​IMG]
