what color are my cochins?

    This first is one that I thought would be gold laced (Never had a gold laced)

    This is the gold and what I thought was black

    The black with gold coming in

    This I think is a blue barred frizzled cochin. The sunlight really washed out the white barred but if you look close it's there and I'm pretty sure he is blue.

    They all have a bit of Blue, I know that.

    The chicks came from hens and a roo colored Buff, Barred, Black, Gold Laced, Sliver Laced and Red. I never considered that they would be a color cross. I noticed that the seller has blue cochins as well. Is there such a thing as blue barred?

    The barred one looks like a normal black barred. btw - "Self Blue" is Lavender, so no, not a self blue. [​IMG]

    The first looks like a Buff or Wheaten.

    Second is black or a cross, telling by the leaking coloration.
